Step aside HTC Hero your Stuff Magazine Gadget of the Year Award is about to be trumped by the Palm Pre.  Well that is if you value the opinion of Popular Mechanics who decided to add the Sprint Palm Pre to their list of the 10 Most Brilliant Products of 2009.  The magazine claims that the Pre sets a new standard by putting all the best available technologies together and that the features read like a gadget geek’s wish list.  Well as a gadget geek myself I’d like to chime in and say that I would agree with the award if the keyboard was bigger and the battery life didn’t require purchasing a Touchstone.  Other than that the Palm Pre and webOS definiltey get my vote as well.
