philips-fidelio-ds8550-ifa-07-sm Philips is certainly in no short supply of cool mobile devices with the GoGear Connect revealed the other day, which could easily compete with the new iPod Touch.

However, they have created a dock for the iPod Touch and other Apple products with the Fidelio DS8550, which looks like some sort of sequel to the Fidelio DS9000.

There isn’t really much to be said about a speaker dock, other than it can do sound. It can talk to the dock via Bluetooth, and has a battery power as well.

I don’t have a price or availability date for it, but I wouldn’t mind one.
