Vodafone UK has finally released the BlackBerry Bold 9790. The smartphone is available for free with 24 month contract that starts at £31 per month. Powered by the BlackBerry 7 OS, the BlackBerry Bold 9790 features a 1GHz processor, a 2.44-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels, a QWERTY keyboard, an 8GB of internal storage space, NFC support, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. A developer simulator for the upcoming Blackberry Torch 9850 (code-named Monaco) is now available via online. The simulator provides developers and users a chance to explore RIM’s Blackberry OS 7 (formerly called OS 6.1), including a new keyboard layout.
