Sprint To Launch LG Optimus Elite

Sprint will release its latest eco-friendly smartphone on April 22nd, 2012 (Earth Day). Dubbed as the LG Optimus Elite, the smartphone features an 800MHz processor, a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and camcorder with flash and a virtual QWERTY keyboard. The LG Optimus Elite runs on the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Available in Titan Silver and White, the handset also supports Near Field Communication (NFC) and mobile hotspot (up to 5 WiFi-enabled devices). The LG Optimus Elite retails for just $29.99 with a new two-year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate. [Press Release]
